Garages
Garages in the panel (and the in-game menu) adds garages to jg-advancedgarages: the entrance, the vehicle spawn
points with their heading, an optional parking point, who can use it, the vehicle type and the map blip. In game you
stand where the entrance goes and place the spawn points on the spot with a see-through vehicle preview.

How it works
Section titled “How it works”Fiveops only uses JG’s documented server exports: registerGarage, updateGarage, unregisterGarage and
refreshGarageAccess. JG doesn’t keep these registrations, so Fiveops does: garages are stored in Fiveops and the
resource registers all of them again whenever JG or Fiveops starts. The resource also keeps a copy in garages.json, so
garages open even while Fiveops cloud is unreachable.
A saved change reaches JG right away; there is no need to restart JG. The list shows each garage’s state in game: Open in game, Off, JG not running or JG refused it (hover for JG’s reason, also printed to the server console).
Placing in game
Section titled “Placing in game”- Open the menu → Garages → Add garage.
- My position next to the entrance uses where you stand. Place in game closes the menu so you can aim at the spot instead.
- Place spawn points shows a see-through vehicle (car, helicopter or boat, by the garage’s vehicle type) where you aim. Only you see it; it isn’t networked.
- When you are done the form opens again with the points; save it.
| Key | Spawn points | Entrance / parking point |
|---|---|---|
E | Place a point | Pick the point |
Wheel or ←/→ | Turn the heading | — |
Backspace | Undo the last point | Cancel |
Enter | Done | — |
X | Cancel (form stays as it was) | Cancel |
Points are saved about 1 m above the ground, the same as copying a player’s coordinates. Boat garages snap to the water surface. In the panel you can type coordinates, click the map (the height stays) or use an in-game player’s position; in a vehicle that gives the vehicle’s position and heading.
Who can use it
Section titled “Who can use it”| Type | JG access | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Everyone | false | |
| Job / Gang | Fiveops’ access function | The listed jobs or gangs at or above the lowest grade. Prompts refresh on job change. |
| Selected characters | List of character IDs | citizenid on QBCore/Qbox, identifier on ESX. |
In every type players park and take out their own vehicles; JG’s access never opens someone else’s vehicle.
What Fiveops can’t do
Section titled “What Fiveops can’t do”JG’s API only registers garages where players park their own vehicles. These stay in JG’s own panel (/garageadmin):
- Impound lots: the API has no impound type.
- Garages with job or gang vehicles (society-owned vehicles, spawner lists).
- Private garages for sale and shared garages.
- Interiors, parking capacity and tours.
- Editing garages made in
/garageadmin: JG keeps them in undocumented tables. Fiveops reads them withgetAllGaragesand lists them read-only (and on the map).
If the running JG has no registerGarage export, the Garages page says so and nothing is registered until JG is
updated.
Turning off and deleting
Section titled “Turning off and deleting”A garage that’s off is removed from JG and comes back as it was when turned on. Delete removes it for good. JG doesn’t delete vehicles parked in a removed garage; they stay in JG’s records, but players can’t reach them from that garage anymore, so turn a garage off if you only need it gone for a while.
