Server console
Your server console is shown live (Server console) and your resources are listed with their states (Resources). From there you can run console commands and start, stop or restart resources. Both are on the web panel and in the in-game menu (the Server group), with the same rules and permissions.
The required server.cfg line
Section titled “The required server.cfg line”add_ace resource.fiveops command allowensure fiveops- Put
add_acebeforeensure fiveopsand restart the server. - Without it the console still shows and resources can still be managed, but the command box stays off and the server console prints how to add the line.
- Typing the same line once into the server console (or txAdmin’s Live Console) turns it on until the next restart.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”- The latest lines when you open the page, then new lines as they come. Download log on the web panel saves everything the server keeps (the last 2,000 lines); the in-game menu has no download.
- License keys, tokens, passwords, webhook URLs and player IPs are hidden on the server before anything leaves it.
- Console lines are not stored by Fiveops. Every command and resource action is written to the Fiveops log with the staff member who ran it.
What is blocked
Section titled “What is blocked”- Stopping or restarting Fiveops itself (
stop fiveops, restart fiveops): the panel would lose its only link to the server. Do it from the server console or txAdmin. - Stopping txAdmin’s
monitorresource. quitshuts the server down and asks you to confirm first.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”Four separate permissions under Staff → Console and resources: view the console, run commands, view the resource list, start and stop resources. Owners and admins have all four.
