Vehicle catalogue

When you add a vehicle to a character or spawn one, the model field comes with a searchable catalogue with pictures, on the panel and in the in-game menu. Pick a vehicle and its spawn name goes into the field; you can still type any spawn name yourself. Search by name, model or brand, filter by class and list, and switch between grid and list.

The catalogue merges three lists. A model in several lists shows once, with a badge for each.

ListWhere it comes fromWhat it adds
FrameworkYour framework’s own vehicle list, read by the resource.Name, brand, price, category, dealership.
GTAEvery built-in GTA vehicle (876).Name, class and picture.
FiveopsThe vehicles you add on the panel under Vehicles → Catalogue.Your name, brand, class and picture link.

When the lists disagree, what you added wins, then the framework, then GTA.

QBCoreQBCore.Shared.Vehicles (qb-core/shared/vehicles.lua); the dealership comes from shop.
Qboxexports.qbx_core:GetVehiclesByName() (qbx_core/shared/vehicles.lua).
ESXes_extended keeps no list; the vehicles and vehicle_categories tables of esx_vehicleshop are read.
ox_coreexports.ox_core:GetVehicleData().
vRPCreative: vrp/config/Vehicle.lua (older bases vrp/lib/vehicles.lua). vRP 1.0 / vRPex: vrp/cfg/garages.lua, the garage type becomes the category.
ND_CoreNo list of its own; the catalogue uses GTA’s vehicles and the ones you added.

The list is read when someone opens the picker and kept for a minute. If it can’t be read, the server console says couldn't read the framework's vehicle list and the picker still shows the other two lists.

Vehicles → Catalogue → Add vehicle: spawn name, name, brand, class and an optional picture link (https). Click a vehicle that is already in the catalogue to give it your own name, class or picture, for example an addon car your framework lists without one. Up to 500 per server. Adding, editing and deleting goes to the Vehicle log channel.

Editing is on the panel only; the in-game menu shows the same catalogue.

In the in-game menu, a model that isn’t loaded in the game gets a warning under the field: no vehicle would spawn. The panel has no game client to check this, so there a model that is in none of the lists gets a note instead.

GTA’s pictures load from the Fiveops panel; nothing is added to the resource. A vehicle without a picture shows its class icon.
